The vault provides USDC liquidity against assets that Coinbase issues or brings onchain on Base. The list may expand as Coinbase brings more assets to Base. Several of the newer wrapped assets are early in their adoption, and their on-chain liquidity on Base can be thin compared with the native assets on their home markets. Automated systems reallocate liquidity across the available markets, aiming to balance utilization and rates within applicable risk parameters.
